ONE SHOT
Art Direction + Concept Development
A COVID-19 vaccination concept built around the idea of getting back to the moments we missed.
THE CHALLENGE
How do you make vaccination feel less like a medical obligation and more like a step toward getting life back?
During the pandemic, “getting back to normal” became a shared cultural desire. I wanted to connect the functional idea of a vaccine with the emotional motivation behind getting vaccinated: being able to return to the people, places and experiences we missed.
ONE SHOT. ONE STEP CLOSER.
THE EXPLORATION
I started thinking less about the vaccine itself and more about what people were actually trying to get back to. That led me to the idea of connecting the physical “shot” with the emotional payoff on the other side of it.
THE CREATIVE LEAP
Use the visual language of a vaccination to represent a literal step toward returning to the experiences that make life feel normal.
ONE SHOT → BACK TO WHAT MATTERS
THE CAMPAIGN
The campaign uses “one shot” as a flexible creative platform, connecting vaccination with the individual experiences people were eager to reclaim.
Rather than leading with the medical benefit of vaccination, the concept starts with the emotional reason someone might want to get vaccinated. The “shot” becomes a simple visual and verbal bridge between the two.
THE TAKEAWAY
Instead of focusing on what we were protecting ourselves from, I focused on what we were trying to get back to. “One shot” became the bridge between the vaccine and the life waiting on the other side.
